The  new Sauvage 2012 collections

The Sauvage, Luxe and Men's swimwear collections are all the work of designer Elizabeth Southwood.

A San Diego native, Elizabeth and partner Simon, established Sauvage in San Diego and are proud to design and manufacture all of their swimwear products in the USA.

With over a decade of design experience, Elizabeth continues to evolve her swimwear collection season after season, refining what it means to have swimwear that has sophisticated and sexy poolside style.

From the vintage inspired swimwear prints dusted with Swarovski crystals, to the edgy excitement of plunging necklines accentuated with gold chains, Southwood's 2012 swimwear collection pushes the boundaries of high fashion, delivering her signature mix of sex appeal and style.

Fabrics and trims are selected primarily from the finest European fabric mills, but all swimwear production is in California.

Sauvage is sold at better department stores and specialty swimwear stores throughout the USA and world-wide, and at their flagship retail location in La Jolla, California.

Sauvage 2012 Swimwear – Glamorous Beachwear and Poolside Chic for Spring/Summer 2012

The new Spring/Summer swimwear collection features several exciting groups.

Hot off the success of the featured suit and designer of the cover Sports Illustrated Swimwear edition – That cover shot featured super model Irina Shayk in bold Neon dual tone colors , this theme continues with new color combos, hot lime/limon/raspberry/color shades.  The new collections sizzle with color and excitement.

Sauvage always features something 'wild' – this year the exotic Lotus flower print, wild peacock prints bring an aura of mystery and excitement .

Designer Elizabeth also features her renowned cut-out /strappy looks that have become her signature style. Look for the ‘DIVA' suit with gold accessories – unique and stunning.

Also, the fabulous 'Mermaid' suits in gold metallic and soft luxury blue metallic prints – exclusive to Sauvage.

Luxe/Sauvage features draping, shirring and rich jewel prints. The "beach couture" theme is reflected in groups such  "Mon Cheri" – in gorgeous Italian lycra.

As well as bronze metallics, ruffles and beading that are sure to turn heads poolside. Elizabeth's attention to detail shines in this swimwear collection, seen in the twists and turns of the "Twist Wrap bikini" and the "One piece twist," which seem to effortlessly hit all the right spots.

The Morocco beaded suits feature beautiful jewels and beads on mesh , hand sewn to each suit.

Always known for their superior fit, the Sauvage and Luxe Swimwear Collections offer a wide range of tops and bottoms for the right coverage for each individual woman. The swimwear collections feature everything from halter and string tie tops to under-wires and bandeaus to be paired with high full cut bottoms, string bottoms, and the sensational "Celebrity Minimal" – a favorite on the celebrity circuit.

Not that Elizabeth forgets the Men! Sauvage Men's Swimwear Collection is fashion-forward, European-inspired swimwear. Mid-cuts and unique board shorts feature an array of solid colors and prints.
