Mad About Mesh

With spring on the horizon, we can’t wait to see all the lust worthy trends that walked down the Spring/Summer 2015 runway shows come to life! One particular trend we are especially excited about is mesh. Mesh has been worked into sports inspired ready-to-wear for a while now, and is still being flawlessly executed in that manner, as seen at Alexander Wang’s S/S 2015 show. Now more than ever however, mesh is being used for more than just an accent for sportswear inspired looks. Both Versace and Akris went for a more feminine and soft approach to mesh in their spring collections. Versace showed girly, bubble gum pink mesh ensembles, while Akris used fuzzy textured nude colored mesh in their runway show.

Swimwear is also embracing this fresh way of looking at mesh, Sauvage included. For S/S 2015 we paired edgy black mesh with vibrant and exotic floral prints, creating a new chic and glamorous way to look at this once exclusively sporty trend. Two of Sauvage’s mesh bikinis were even featured on Haute In Miami's blog covering trends from Mercedes Benz Miami Fashion Week, as seen in the image below.
